When we ventured into the lush jungles of Mexico in April 2024 for our first-ever 'Camp' METREAT, I anticipated a retreat that would be transformative, but what unfolded was truly beyond my expectations.
This was not just another retreat; it was our inaugural camp METREAT, which combined all the nurture and immersion of our traditional METREATs but in a more rustic setting literally in the jungle! We slept in tree houses, offering campers a true rustic-luxe experience. It was about shedding what we don't need to reconnect with Mother Earth and ourselves/
The retreat wasn’t just life changing for attendees, but it was also life changing for me.
From the moment we began with a powerful opening “asking permission to use the land ceremony” I knew we had something special.
The activities we do are a small part of the retreat- because the magic happens because of the people who come.
Yes, there’s yoga, kirtan, soundbaths, meditation, etc… but what makes the METREAT unbelievable is the open hearted shares and willingness of each person to arrive and become an “ingredient” for what will become the world’s tasiest cake.
At camp, we entered another universe where time doesnt exist. The days were LONG and spacious and by day 1.5 everyone was in disbelief that we had only met the day before.
The nourishing food was a feast not just for the body but for the spirit, each dish crafted to support our journey. Our yoga sessions, filled with laughter and deep breathing, aligned our bodies and minds, strengthening the connections among us. Through it all, the theme of igniting the fierce feminine wove its way into our activities and conversations, empowering every woman to tap into her profound inner strength and wisdom.
This camp' METREAT, set in the heart of the Mexican jungle, was not just a location but a catalyst for transformation. It reminded us that when women come together with open hearts and fierce intentions, incredible things happen. Our first camp METREAT was pure magic—the magic of the Mexican jungle and the magic of the sisterhood circle that was formed.
